Day 11

Ah, this has been a good day for writing. I finished my Christmas Secret Santa story (but for a few tweaks after it's given a day or two to rest). I got caught up on my backlog and only have about 1500ish words to make up to be back on my self-imposed schedule!

Since I finally finished the story around 7 (and pretty much had been working on it steadily since I got home from church around 1ish), I stopped writing for the evening and just surfed the internet. *G*

So, my writing total for today is 6154, bringing my total up to 24609!!! Nearly half way there!

Hopefully, I can get another good writing day in tomorrow. Although, I tell you...this story that I've been working on for the Christmas exchange--it has me thinking about new avenues and plotlines. And I need to finish torturing Dan! *wailing*

Ah, well. Hopefully, the enthusiasm for the new plot will keep percolating while I finish up with Dan. *grin*

At any rate, I'm really excited to have such a good catch-up weekend. I feel better physically and I'm excited about the progress I've made. Now, hopefully, I can keep it up with some good industrious work this week, because it's going to be a challenging one.

I have Miss Em coming to stay overnight on Friday and Cary Grant chat on Saturday night, which doesn't really leave me a lot of weekend catch-up time. Hopefully, the week preceding it will be productive. *crossing fingers*

But hey! Every little bit counts, right? :)
