Day 1

Well, it's almost over, Day 1 is. I think I must be crazy to be attempting NaNo this year. I had completely forgotten about my trip to Disney World where we leave November 23rd, and I will not have a computer for a week and am not likely to write 1667 words while riding the Mad Hatter Teacups. *G*

So, I recalculated and have determined I need to write 2381 words each day up until the day before Thanksgiving. (I figured Thanksgiving would be a wash.)

I'm hoping to maybe get some more marathon sessions in on the weekends to help the burden during the week. We'll see.

At any rate, I managed to slog through Day 1. 2392 words. I don't know how good the words are, and I'm totally exhausted from a really long day that needs to end now, but I wrote 'em. And got 11 done ahead for tomorrow. *grin*

So now I have some good headway into Chapter 5 of the Dan story. I'm hoping to finish this story and then write my Secret Santa Christmas story.

That is the plan anyway. We shall see how it works.

But Day 1...survived!
