It ain't so much a question of a red-haired man named Jim.
Or even of his lady love named Trix.
I heerd about a web site that combined the two of them.
Something hard to say that rhymed with fix.
I thought I'd check and stay there not too long
But if brief be what I were thinking, I be wrong!

I'm just a girl who's part of Jix.
I'm in a very great crowd!
I can blend into the wide mix
Or I can say my thoughts loud!

When a person writes a story here,
I know they're gonna get some great feedback!
Even if their story twists about
And comes around and gives you quite a smack!

I'm just a fool for fan fiction
With Regan, Dan, Mart or Di...
Romance, Adventure or Spy...
I'd take 'em all, bet your eye...
I cain't say no!

Whatcha gonna do when Jim gets flirty?
Or Brian talks dirty?
Whatcha gonna do?
S'posin' that Mart starts spoutin' out Shakespeare?
Or Browning?  Or Byron?
Whatcha gonna do?
S'posin' that Dan is all dressed in black
And has a wicked gleam in his eye?
Whatcha gonna do when you're faced with that fic?
Go back to work?

Sure I could learn some parlor tricks.
But I'm wonderin' who's kissin' who...
Other people surf on other sites...
But other folks ain't havin' any fun...
I hold my breath until the end has come...
To see if Trix has pulled out any guns!
Though I might not say it too much
